Pune, April 22, 2025: In a shocking incident in the Sanjaynagar area of Pashan, criminal gang members vandalised five two-wheelers and created terror by brandishing swords and other iron weapons. In this regard, the Chaturshringi Police have registered a case against four people and arrested the main accused.
Chetan Sheshrao Dhan (age 26, resident of Sanjaynagar, Pashan) has filed a complaint in this regard at the Chaturshringi police station. Accordingly, the police registered cases against Aditya Jagannath Manvatkar, Omkar Ratan Manvatkar, and Mangesh Jadhav and arrested Sahil Nagesh Kasbe.
The police informed that the accused earlier had an argument with some people in the Sanjaynagar area. Harbouring the anger of that incident, the accused entered into the area on Monday midnight, hailing swords and other weapons and creating terror in the area by brandishing weapons.
The accused also vandalised parked vehicles in the area with weapons and absconded from the scene. Meanwhile, a few of the residents woke up from the sleep and detained the absconding accused, Sahil Kasbe, and handed him over to the police.
Upon learning about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. Police Sub-Inspector Angad Nemane is conducting further investigation into the case.
