Pune, May 3, 2025: Today, a tragic car accident took place early this morning in which a speeding Mercedes car crushed a two-wheeler near Vadgaon Bridge in Pune. The accident resulted in the immediate death of a bike rider. The police have registered a case of culpable homicide against four people in the car.
As per the information, the bike rider, identifying as Kunal Manoj Hushar, has died on the spot, whereas his friend, Prajyot Deepak Pujari, and four individuals in the car have sustained serious injuries. The names of the four people inside the car against whom the police have lodged a complaint are Shubham Rajendra Bhosale (27), Nikhil Milind Ranawade (26), Shreyas Ramkrishna Solanki (25), and Vedant Indrasingh Rajput (28).
Informing about the accident, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam stated that this accident took place around 3.30 a.m. this morning. “Today, four people were travelling from Satara Road in the Mercedes car (MH 01 BK 4625). While speeding their car from Vadgaon bridge, their car collided with the bike, and the bike was blown off in this accident. After the accident, the car crossed the service road and hit the footpath,” informed Kadam.
He said that after learning about the accident, the police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured individuals to the hospital. The police have registered a case of culpable homicide against four people in the car.
