Nagpur,27 February 2025: A Buyer Seller Meet is organized at Banquet Hall, Officer’s Club, Civil Lines, Nagpur on 28 February, Friday at 11.00 AM by Weavers Service Centre, Nagpur. This Buyer Seller Meet has been sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India under National Handloom Development Programme (NHDP). The Buyers Seller Meet will be inaugurated by Mr Sanjay Daine (IAS), Commissioner Textiles, Government of Maharashtra along with Mr Pramod Mahajan, Chief Manager (Mining), Coal Mine Planning Design Institute CMPDI, Nagpur and Mrs Shruti Sancheti, Designer, Board of Governance FDCI as a Guest of Honour.
The purpose of organizing Buyer Seller Meet is to provide a platform to the Handloom Weavers/ entrepreneur to meet reputed Buyers and to execute the orders in Handloom sector.
Buyer can meet multiple sellers in one location, gaining exposure to a variety of Handloom products.Weavers/entrepreneur will get an opportunity to promote their brand and products.
The Handloom Weavers/entrepreneur from Achalpur District Amravati, Karanja Lad, Dist. Washim, Balapur, Dist. Akola, Nagpur, Ranala, Dist. Nagpur, Sausar, Dist. Pandhurna etc. will participate in Buyers Seller Meet to showcase their product. Reputed buyer from Nagpur will also attend the Buyer Seller Meet and explore the possibilities of business with Handloom Weavers/ entrepreneur.
Sandeep Thubrikar, Deputy Director of Weavers Service Centre Nagpur appealed the stakeholders to participate in this buyer seller meet, stated a press release.
