Pune:The 6th ‘International Pharma E-Symposium 2025’ was jointly organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University’s Poona College of Pharmacy and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Student Forum Pune (IPASF Pune). The symposium, held on February 15-16, 2025, at Sushrut Auditorium (Bharati Vidyapeeth, Dhankawadi), received an excellent response.
The symposium was inaugurated by Rahul Kumar Darda, Chairman of Brinton Pharmaceuticals. The event was graced by dignitaries including Dr. Atmaram Pawar, Principal of Poona College of Pharmacy, Dr. L. Sathiyanarayanan, Vice-Principal, former IPA Pune President Dr. Chandrakant Kokare, Secretary Dr. Ravindra Kamble, IPASF Pune President Dev Dangi, and others. The conference was coordinated by Dr. Amarjeet Singh Rajput, Assistant Professor at Poona College of Pharmacy.
The symposium featured discussions on topics such as entrepreneurship development in pharmaceutical sciences, startups, investment and finance, marketing, and artificial intelligence. More than 450 students from pharmacy and pharma management from various parts of the state participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Kumar Darda of Brinton Pharmaceuticals stated, “India is a ₹4 lakh crore hub for pharmaceutical companies, and I believe that in the next five years, this sector will expand to ₹10 lakh crore. This symposium is fostering leadership and entrepreneurial skills in the new generation, something I never experienced during my student life.”
