Pune: Kamalnayan Bajaj School, Chinchwad, emerged as the champions of the inaugural edition of the Rotary Enpro InterSchool Quiz, held on Sunday, 16th February 2025 at Enpro Auditorium, in a nail-biting final that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.
Aadi Abhijeet Kanase and Attar Arhaan Ejaj, both Class 9 students from Kamalnayan Bajaj School, clinched the title with an impressive 38 points, outshining their closest competitors Pratham Dhokle and Atharv Bhide of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala, Pune who secured 32 points to take the runners-up position.
Saishree Patil and Sudarshan M from Empyrean School, Navi Mumbai, delivered an impressive performance, finishing a close third.
The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from 102 teams representing 65 schools, making it a grand success. Teams were tested rigorously on their general knowledge, quick thinking, and reflexes, ensuring a highly competitive and engaging contest, stared a press release.
The event was generously sponsored by Enpro Industries, who provided attractive awards and trophies to the winners. Srikrishna Karkare, Managing Director Enpro Industries has promised continued support to this quiz.
The quiz was hosted by the Rotary Club of Nigdi-Pune, one of the largest and most active Rotary clubs in the region. The event received overwhelming appreciation from students, parents, and teachers alike.
Buoyed by the success of the first edition, Suhas Dhamale, President Rotary Club of Nigdi and Jayant Yewale and Rakesh Singhania, Convenors of the event have already announced that the second edition of the Rotary Enpro InterSchool Quiz is being planned for December 2025.
