Pune: This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Pune City Teachers’ Democratic Front (TDF), affiliated with the Maharashtra Teachers’ Democratic Front and the Secondary Teachers’ Union, has been awarded to Dr. P.A. Inamdar, Chancellor of P.A.Inamdar University. The award was conferred by Maharashtra Teachers’ Democratic Front President G.K.Thorat and Pune TDF President,Principal Shivajirao Kamthe.
Dr.Inamdar was honored with a commemorative plaque,citation, shawl and a copy of the book ‘Tapasvi’ written by G.K. Thorat.The event saw the presence of Pune City TDF President Prof. Santosh Thorat,Secondary Teachers’ Union President Principal Raj Muzawar,Pune City Junior College TDF President Prof. Shashikant Shinde,former President of Pune Secondary Cooperative Credit Institution Vijayrao Kachare,Secondary Teachers’ Union Executive President Ashok Dhalgade, Amjad Pathan, along with other dignitaries.
Dr.Inamdar was chosen for this award in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field of education in Pune. The event was held on October 31, 2024, at Azam Campus, stated a press release.
