Pune, February 4, 2025: A shocking case has come to light regarding the Maharashtra Group B Combined Preliminary Examination, which took place on February 2 in the state. In connection with the audiotape of the paper leak of this paper, the Pune police have arrested a person from Madhya Pradesh. In this regard, the hand of one female police officer is suspected.
Recently, an audiotape demanding Rs 40 lakhs was aired on social media, claiming to provide the question paper of the Maharashtra Group B Combined Preliminary Examination, which was conducted on February 2 by MPSC. After that audiotape, the Pune police launched an investigation into the case and arrested a 27-year-old youth, Deepak Yashwant Sakre, from Madhya Pradesh.
Notably, the police had earlier arrested three people regarding this case before Sakre’s arrest. However, with Sakre’s arrest, the links of this case have reached Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, the police had arrested Yogesh Surendra Waghmare (27 years) from Bhandara district. Police informed that during the investigation, they found that Waghmare and Sakre had called some students and demanded money from them regarding the supply of the MPSC Combined Preliminary Exam paper.
Meanwhile, Bundgarden Police have registered a complaint in this case and are conducting an investigation regarding it. From the preliminary examination, the police found the involvement of two accused, Ashish Kulpe and Pradeep Kulpe. Police also said that the primary mastermind behind this case is a female officer who is related to the fugitive accused Kulpe brothers. It is alleged that both brothers carried out these calls under her direction.
