Popular Bollywood actor Govinda today joined the Shiv Sena but said he will not be contesting from any seat.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said Govinda will be Shiv Sena’s star campaigner.
The Maharashtra Congress has suffered a blow as the caste certificate of its official candidate Rashmi Barve has invalidated by the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee from Ramtek constituency.
The Congress said Rashmi Barve’s husband Shyamkumar Barve will contest from the Ramtek seat. He has also filed his nomination.
