Bharti Vidyapeeth Salutations to Dr. Patangrao Kadam on Memorial Day
Pune : Universities should be prepared to face the challenges of rapid revolutionary changes in technology, changing form of global competition, changing mindset of students and parents, increased speed of obsolescence says Vice-Chancellor of Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Dr. Vivek Saoji.
He has expressed his views during the release of Dr. Patangrao Kadam special issue of ‘Vichar Bharati’ in the program organized at the central office on the occasion of the sixth death anniversary of the founder Chancellor of Bharti Vidyapeeth Dr. Patangrao Kadam.
Joint secretary V. B. Mhetre, Dr. M.S.Sagare, Registrar G. Jayakumar, Editor of Vichar Bharati Prof. Milind Joshi, Chairman Bharati Sahakari Bank B.B. Kad, Vasantrao Mane, Controller of Examination Department Anthony Rose were present.
Dr. Saoji said, with the strength of determination and ambition, Dr. Patangrao Kadam kept the graph of progress of Bharti Vidyapeeth high.
Prof. Joshi said, Dr. Patangrao Kadam had experienced the difficulties that children from poor families in rural areas had to go through for education. He established Bharti University to ensure that what came to him should not be passed on to future generations and to take the Ganga of education to the last level of Bahujan Samaj. The contribution made by Bharti Vidyapeeth in the last sixty years to the educational, health, social, cultural and economic development of the country is significant. Dr. Kadam not only raised institutions but raised people.
