Bhimaji Sable (46) and Yuvraj Bhujbal, who have been arrested by Pune police in connection with seizure over Rs 3000 crore mephedrone, will stay in police custody till March 4. A local Pune Court has extended their custody.
The application for extension of custody before the court was moved by Shabbir Shaikh of the Pune crime branch.
The Pune police said custodial interrogation of the two was required to probe their linkages with other suspects in the case.
Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad have become notorious for two-wheeler accidents. In another two-wheeler accident, a container hit a bike in Kurali between Moshi and Chakan, injuring two youths. One of them has been identified as Ritik Mohol and another as Ashish.

The woman teacher was awaiting a courier parcel of her dresses from a Lucknow shop.
When the parcel did not arrived, she called up the courier company. A man allegedly told her to download an app and pay Rs 5 to get the parcel.
Lo and behold, the woman did that. Next day, she lost Rs two lakh from her saving bank accounts….
