Chinchwad Malayalee Samajam’s (CMS) English Medium Higher Secondary School conducted Science Exhibition recently in the school premises. The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, SC ‘G’, Director (PM), Office of DG(ACE), DRDO.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, SC ‘G’, Director (PM), Office of DG(ACE), DRDO stressed on the importance conducting such exhibitions for generating scientific attitude among students.He also appreciated the efforts put in by the students and guided the students.
The programme started with the welcome Speech by the Principal followed by the presidential address by T P Vijayan. The exhibition took place under the guidance of Principal of the school Dr.Biji Gopakumar Pillai and the Science teachers of Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary sections respectively. The introductory meeting witnessed the presence of CMS President and Chairman of the School T.P. Vijayan, Gen. Secretary Sudhir.C.Nair, Treasurer, P.Ajaykumar, Vice-President P.Srinivasan and other committee members, Ladies Wing Convenor Praveeja Vineeth , Ravi Nair Mathrubhoomi News-Pune Branch and the PTA Members.
The exhibition received wonderful response from the parents as well. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by the Primary HM.
